RESPECT FOR ALL CULTURES
We must scrupulously guard the civil rights and civil liberties of all our citizens, whatever their background. We must remember that any oppression, any injustice, any hatred, is a wedge designed to attack our civilization
- Franklin D. Roosevelt
In 1896 the United States Supreme Court legalized racial segregation in public accomodations. However, in 1954, Thurgood Marshall, Esq., fought successfully to end racial segregation in public schools. Since then, the American education system has slowly become resegregated by race (ethnicity).
With racial animosities reemerging in politics, School Districts across the country are denying equal rights and actively promoting education inequality to children of colour at an astounding "Haste."
